Job Deposits and Payments

  • We now require full payment (100% of the quoted amount) to “Convert Quote” to “Job.”

  • This payment includes a non-refundable fee to cover the time spent custom designing your panel.

  • Once you convert a quote to a job, we will begin the design work.

  • Since all our work is custom, we must receive payment before production begins.

  • Please verify that ALL DETAILS AND LAYOUT meet your and your client’s exact requirements and requests.

  • By clicking "Start Production" on your proof, you confirm that all details are correct and fully approved, instructing us to begin manufacturing.

  • Once production starts, the full payment is non-refundable, and work will proceed based on the approved proof.

  • For any changes or refund requests, please contact us at 805-395-4311, or eapanels@gmail.com. Each case will be reviewed and handled individually.

Shipping

  • For the fastest service and to simplify billing, please provide your shipping account information.

  • If you opt to use “Bill to Job,” our shipping account, note that shipping charges may take 1-4 weeks to be billed, depending on the carrier, and will be due upon receipt.

  • We now charge for shipping insurance to mitigate the risk of lost packages. If the carrier loses your package, we will have to restart production. As a result, we may need to charge for the additional work unless it is covered by the insurance. We are working to minimize these costs as much as possible.

Complete Workmanship Guarantee

  • We offer an unmatched 100% guarantee on all our work. Our accurate test panels help us and our customers identify potential issues early, allowing us to address them before they appear in the final product.

  • EA Panels is committed to providing the highest quality avionics panels for your installations. This guarantee applies only if the dealer has received at least one test panel and conducted appropriate checks of all gauges and instrument fits using the supplied test panel.

Cooperative and Envision Levels

The guarantee is complete once you receive a test panel. If you are dissatisfied with your final panel for any reason, we will either fix it or produce a new one. The guarantee covers the following:

  • Workmanship and quality

  • Instrument measurement or location errors

  • Scratches caused by shipping or your shop

  • Fit or mounting hole location issues, improper countersinks, etc.

  • Any form, fit, or function issues that don't involve design changes after production.

Basic Production and Individual Services

We guarantee:

  • Workmanship and quality

  • Adherence to the original provided design

As warranty-related issues are rare, all returns or reproductions are treated with the utmost priority and handled as quickly as possible.

Production Guarantee

At EA Panels, we know that time is money. For standard panels, we guarantee a 5-day production turnaround. While we often complete work sooner, please allow at least 5 days for scheduling. If we don't meet the deadline, the panel is free of charge!

For larger jobs, please refer to the following guidelines:

  • Jobs up to $1,750: 5-day production time

  • Jobs $1,750 to $2,450: Up to 10 days

  • Jobs over $2,450: Up to 15 days, depending on complexity

These timeframes are general and may be changed based on your individual project. We strive to deliver as quickly as possible and can ship items as they become available. Please contact your production manager to arrange split shipments, as we typically ship complete orders.

The guarantee applies only after final design approval and payment.

It covers only stocked colors and standard metals (.063, .090, .125 2024T3). If custom materials or finishes are required, our production times are subject to vendor lead times.

Rush Service Guidelines

Rush service requires us to prioritize your project, which disrupts the normal workflow for other clients. Because rush orders require overtime and additional effort, they can affect the quality of the work. Therefore, rush jobs incur additional charges:

Jobs up to $1,750

  • Same-day AOG: 150% of the job cost

  • Next-day AOG: 100% of the job cost

  • Two-day AOG: 50% of the job cost

Jobs $1,750 to $2,450: Same-day AOG is unavailable

Jobs over $2,450: Same and Next-day AOG is unavailable

Rush fees may vary on a case-by-case basis. For larger jobs, rush charges may not be available as written on guidelines. Contact us at 805-395-4311 or eapanels@gmail.com for working on rush details. We always aim to complete rush orders as quickly as possible, but please apply common sense when setting your expectations for large projects.
